Prosthodontists are qualified dentists who have completed a further 3 to 4 years training and practised in all aspects of dentistry. This additional in-depth training gives a wide and detailed knowledge of a range of dental techniques and a comprehensive view of the teeth as part of the human body.
Rather than simply providing cosmetic solutions which focus on the way things look they are trained to diagnose and treat underlying problems as part of the overall treatment programme. This understanding carries through into all aspects of reconstructing smiles and appearances resulting in a superior long-term result.
